Your reputation can’t be left to chance and shaped through the lens of search engines and social media. It is the single most important aspect of your business and viewed through the lens of talent, it affects every touchpoint in the employment lifecycle. It determines whether people join and stay with you, as well as perform. It is also measurable in determining your overall business performance.
People want to make the best choice and are increasingly basing their selection on the company with a reputation that stands out – for the right reasons. They choose organisations whose purpose and values align with their own. They choose organisations where they can find meaning. In short – people choose to work with organisations they trust and who step up and do the right things in the right way.
Of course they are influenced by the companies’ brand, but fundamentally it’s your reputation and their experience of it – that can seal the deal.
Yet no one to date has clearly defined the standard for Employer Reputation, identified and articulated the factors and drivers that shape it, or indeed looked at how it can be measured and managed.
